The Space
The Columbia City Theater was built in 1917 and is the oldest vaudeville theater in the state of Washington. The theater reopened on June 25th, 2010 to rave reviews and was featured in Seattle Weekly’s “Best of Seattle” list after being open for less than two months. It has since been dubbed “The city’s finest sounding room,” by SPIN Magazine and was ranked high among the “Top 10 Live Music Venues in Seattle” by The Guardian.
The theater is ideal for live music of all types as well as performance and private events. An impeccable sound system, classic theater lighting, retro aesthetics, and live recording capabilities make it a favorite for musicians, performers, and fans alike.
