Construction Closure

The Space
Main Hall
With a capacity of 750 standing and 200 seated this flexible space is an ideal setting for public or private performances, music shows, parties, banquets and fundraisers, lectures, or could be used for larger music/dance classes, rehearsals or meetings.
From Billie Holiday, to Jimi Hendrix and his band the Rockin’ Kings, to Elvis Costello, hundreds of local, national and international artists have performed in this magical space over the last century.

A home away from home since 1908
Washington Hall has been a welcoming place where people gather, create, entertain, and celebrate since it was built in 1908. The Hall has been a cultural home to many communities and art forms, and for a long time embodied the soul of Seattle’s Central Area. Washington Hall has a deep history as a performing arts venue and community gathering space. Our two historic spaces, the Lodge Room and the Main Hall, are available for anyone in the community to rent for performances, weddings, rehearsals, meetings and more. With an open floorplan, and beautiful historic architecture, each room is a blank slate for any event.
