The Building
Nestled at the foot of Rattlesnake mountain, the inspirational setting of the Center makes it an exceptional place for retreats, workshops, meetings, celebrations, and other gatherings. Available for small to larger groups (120 people max). We have a discounted rate for non-profit and government organizations. Audio-visual equipment, chairs, tables, and a fully stocked kitchen are also available at no extra charge.
The Cedar River Watershed Education Center is a regional education facility created as a gathering place to connect people with the source of their water. Nestled above the shores of Rattlesnake Lake in the Cascade foothills, the Center is a gateway to the the Cedar River Municipal Watershed, which provides drinking water for 70% of the 1.4 million people living in the greater Seattle area.
The Center provides opportunities for thousands of visitors to learn about the complex issues surrounding the region’s drinking water, forests and wildlife. There are a variety of ways to connect to the source of your water and the Cedar River Watershed.
