The Building
KAC was founded as the Creative Arts League in 1962 by a group of artists and citizens interested in providing local opportunities in the arts and concerned about the preservation of a Kirkland landmark, the Peter Kirk Building.
For over 50 years, the Kirkland Arts Center has owned and maintained the historic Peter Kirk building and transformed it into an exhibition gallery, community arts studio and education facility. As KAC strives to promote artistic mastery and public participation in the visual arts, we invite you to consider using our unique gallery and meeting spaces for your next private or professional event.
