The Space
AXIS Pioneer Square is Seattle’s dramatic new special event venue located in the classic Globe Building of Pioneer Square. Over 6000sf of versatile space centers on a row of 18’ tall brick arches gracefully combining the historic textures of the 1890 building with subtle industrial modern touches. As the former home to the Elliott Bay Book Co., many Seattleites spent joyful hours wandering these floors, and the resurrection into AXIS has garnered universally rave reviews.
Perfect for corporate events, parties, wedding receptions and ceremonies, the space can remain open or be cleverly partitioned to customize the feel of your event. Cocktails at the Book Co. Bar, perusing the integrated professional art gallery or enjoying the outdoor space in adjacent Nord Alley have all been guest favorites. Events for up to 400 guests have successfully graced the AXIS arches, as the space is comfortably charming for smaller groups but can easily absorb large crowds.

Hourly Rental
$170 per hour
HOURLY RENTAL ONLY APPLIES TO PHOTO/VIDEO SHOOTS
Full Day (10 hours) - $1200
Half Day (5 hours) - $750
Mini Day (3 hours) - $500 (minimum rental)
WA Sales Tax applies to all rentals
6-point overhead strobe package with radio transmitter included with all rentals!
Dynalite strobe kit available for rent at $80/shoot includes:
1 – 2000ws pack
3 – 2050 heads
2 – pocket wizards
Basic grip (C-stands, modifiers, apple boxes)
Weekend/After Hours Shoots (subject to availability)
• Subject to $15/hr additional charge
• 4 hour minimum on weekends
• Technical support for strobe equipment may not be available for weekend/after hour shoots, please schedule a studio orientation in advance if new to studio
Daily Rental
$2800 – $4800 per day
Non-profit venue discount of 15% applies for events taking place Monday-Thursday
Rental Requirements
Must use venue’s bartending services and choose from a selected group of caterers.
Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable 50% venue rental fee is due upon booking of event, which will be applied to any final invoice. Balance of remaining payment is due 10 days prior to event, including all rentals, photography and DJ fees (or any other vendor) which is booked directly through Venue. Should need arise for Renter to change event dates before 90 days prior to event, Venue may, at its discretion, make good faith effort to accommodate a one time rescheduling, however this cannot be guaranteed, and deposit will not be refunded if a suitable reschedule date cannot be agreed to. If a new date is agreed to, deposit will only be applied to Site Rental Fee of new date if Venue is able to re-book Renter’s previous date, otherwise initial deposit will be forfeited and new date must be paid at full rate.

Hours
We are open Monday-Friday between 9:30 and 6PM. Due to our event schedule, we sometimes close to the public on weekdays so it is advisable to always call ahead before coming in.
Parking
On-street parking, 2 hours max with paid lot across venue as well as a number of other lots in the area.
