The Building
Coyote Central engages adolescents with professionals in creative fields in hands-on workshop courses year-round. Professional artists, musicians, chefs, animators, fashion designers, photographers, woodworkers, writers, metalworkers and more share their skills and creativity with middle-school youth who are trying to figure out who they are and what they want to become. Building artistic and problem-solving skills at Coyote expands a youth’s sense of personal potential and possibility in the world.
Coyote’s facilities at 23rd and Cherry include a 750 SF performance space, 2 adjoining workshop spaces, a professionally equipped teaching kitchen, and a dining area that seats 40-50 (max. occupancy 50). An auxiliary building to the north has a shop space for woodworking, welding and forging.
