The Space
Seattle Creative Arts Center is a unique, bright, open, loft style venue. We believe in providing an affordable space to fill the communities creative needs. Owned by Chris and Meleah Gibson, Chris teaches guitar, bass and piano lessons to all ages and skill levels out of the center and we are also the home to many different creative groups.
Also being an event venue, SCAC is the perfect space for your surprise party, reception, photo shoot, school dance, art show, film screening, rehearsal, workshop or class. This exciting venue is built to fit all your needs. Our newly renovated space is equipped perfectly for theatre groups and music groups looking for a quiet place to rehearse or perform, speakers and teachers looking for an intimate yet roomy space to hold their workshops or classes, photographers looking for a bright, clean studio and is a blank canvas that transforms easily into any type of event you’re planning. If you have an idea, we can provide the perfect space.
Hourly Rental
$25 – $175 per hour
Hourly rates are all inclusive and we ask you include your set up and tear down time for all private events.
The below amenities are all included in hourly rates:
2000 square foot space, carpeted and concrete flooring. Capacity is 100. Private green room/changing room approx. 150 square feet with full length mirror. P.A. and LED stage lighting, 3 mics and stands, stage, kitchen equipped with full fridge freezer, counter space, microwave, sink and toaster oven. 1 8 ft table, 6 6 ft tables, 3 4 ft tables all rectangular, 50 chairs, podium, projector/screen, 30 gallon garbage and recycle bins with liners.
Daily Rental
$1200 per day
Daily rate is all inclusive and is a 12 hour rental. Noon to midnight.

Rental Requirements
SCAC requires 50% of the entire rental total to reserve desired date. A credit card is needed on file for damages and excess cleaning. Not applicable to rehearsals or photo shoots.
Rules & Regulations
Renter shall leave the space in the same condition as when they entered. A credit card will be needed on file in case of damage or excess cleaning. No smoking within 25 feet of building. No underage drinking.
Cancellation Policy
If renter cancels the reservation for private events (not applicable for rehearsals or photo shoots) SCAC shall refund 25% of the deposit. If renter cancels the event less than 7 days prior SCAC is entitled to retain the entire deposit.
