The Space
Our black box theater space is flexible and versatile, with moveable decks and non-fixed seating. The theater has a large lighting grid which spans the entire space, allowing for lighting to be designed according to the best spacing solution for your show. The theater includes a small dressing room off of a hallway (commonly used for entrance and exit points in a show) which contains a video monitor and com system, private toilet, sink, mini-fridge and microwave. The dressing room also has costume hanging space and large, well-lit vanity mirrors and counter tops for actor use.
WofL’s theater comes with equipment in our rental package. The rental package information is included in the venue posting. It includes usage of our light board (Element 60) sound board (small Mackie) use of our black drapes (in varying, custom height sizes) our rep lighting plot, gel frames, a certain allotment of cables and more.
As a show producer in the theater space, renters also have access to the WofL Gallery during performances. The Gallery becomes our lobby space for patrons, in which art is displayed and tickets/concessions are sold.
