We are a retail gallery space one block south of Seattle Art Museum. We rent event space for meetings, fundraisers, and parties with non profit discounts available. One staff member from our team stays during the event to help set up and clean up and is available for questions and logistics. We have some folding tables & chairs and other props available for your use. Our art stays up during your event. There is an extra charge if we were to remove any of the art so that you could hang your art or materials on any of the walls.

Most people find the gallery to be a fun and interesting space to meet in!

thank you.

The Building

We are an art gallery & event space that focuses on local, affordable, original art. We started 5 years ago in West Seattle on Alki Beach, thus the name. We strive to carry the highest caliber of original artwork created by local working artists that all people can afford. Everyone should be able to own a piece of original artwork! Our price range is $300-$3,000 with a few pieces falling below or above that.

We enjoy hosting events and groups that help build community.

We often host musical groups and concerts in a manner that nets $$$ for the musicians but not the gallery since music is one of the arts we are trying to support. Talk to us about possible concert arrangements.

This is a privately owned and family run company that tries to create a ‘safe space’ for artists and customers. Well behaved children and school groups are also welcomed.

Hours

During the fall & winter we are open Wed-Sat 12-6 and by appt the other days.  Starting May we will be open 7 days a week 12-7 and alternate hours by appt. We rent the space out for meetings and parties during non-open hours.
We are pretty flexible and consider each event rental on a case by case basis.  We love a ‘win/win’ arrangement and offer non profit discounts.
We like to utilize the space as much as possible with artistic and community endeavors that benefit us all.

Parking

There is street parking and we also have a parking garage in our building which is accessible on Seneca between 1st & 2nd.  Parking in the garage is unvalidated and can be pricey, but is secure and dry. The back door to the gallery can be accessed from the garage on the C level.

Security

We are part of the Second & Seneca Tower and although we are situated on 1st Ave the buildings security guards regularly patrol the building’s premises and can be called upon if a problem arises.
