The Space
Powerspace is located on Airport Way S, Just south of downtown by the stadiums. Easy access to the Eastside and South Seattle. Suitable for an artist looking for a large and clean space to work. It can also work for a shared artist space or a small business. Located in the SW corner of the Power Space building, this unit has a roll-up door and man door onto a paved alley / walk way as well as an interior door accessing a utility sink and bathrooms.
The unit has tall, west facing windows that allow in plenty of natural light. Currently there are blinds on the windows so the light can be controlled. In addition the entire Power Space building has heated floors, natural as well as full spectrum LED lighting throughout. This is a rare opening of one of the larger units in this secure building. We are looking for a creative business or artist to round out our creative community.
There is a power panel in the space suitable for any 220v equipment needs. The space comes with basic ventilation with plenty of opportunities to upgrade as needed. This is an amazing place for a small wood shop or other demanding uses, such as glass or ceramics kilns. There is a small sink in the unit which can be upgraded if needed as well as clean shared bathrooms.
Rent includes all reasonable utilities.
This unit has a variable height ceiling from 14’ to 18’. Rent is $1900 and includes heat and electricity as well as basic wi-fi.

While this is a 24/7 work site, over night parking is not allowed on the premises. No smoking of any kind is allowed within the Power Space building.

The Building
Power Space is a building owned and designed for the working artist / small business by working artists. This one story industrial warehouse has been transformed into 18 work-only studios in a variety of sizes designed for the serious creative. Power Space is conveniently located just south of the International District and north of Georgetown with great freeway access. Many of the units have direct access; all units have radiant heat, an abundance of natural light through some combination of windows, skylights and clear-story windows as well as full spectrum LED lighting (CRI92). Each unit has its own ventilation system which connects directly to the exterior. The owners are working artists themselves and are committed to creating an artistically interesting community by developing raw space presented at reasonable rates.
