The Space
The 150-seat Theater is fully equipped with flexible lighting, sound, retractable seating, thrust staging, adjacent dressing rooms, and can host all varieties of professional and community productions, as well as large-scale meetings, film screenings and seminars.

Non-Profit Rate Available
Rental Requirements
A 501 non-profit status is required to receive the non-profit rate. We require a fully refundable damage deposit up to $500. This fee is no deposited or charged, simply held in our offices until following the event, and returned to you assuming there is no damage to the space. Events occurring outside regular business hours require staffing. Based on technical needs, for any event using sound and lighting equipment, our technical director is available for staffing.
To proceed with bookings, we require:
• 50% of the rental fee
• a separate damage deposit
• and a signed copy of the attached policies agreement to confirm.
The balance is due before event date.
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation by the Renter with less than fourteen (14) days notice results in a forfeit of the fifty percent deposit. Any cancellations prior to fourteen (14) days’ notice, but within thirty (30) days notice results in a forfeit of one half (1/2) of the fifty percent deposit. Any cancellation due to failure to fulfill the requirement of this contract results in a loss of full deposit. A cancellation can be written, e-mailed, or in-person at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center. A cancellation left on voice mail or an answering machine is not acceptable.

The Building
Youngstown Cultural Arts Center is an inclusive, contemporary multi-arts space based in the Delridge Neighborhood of Southwest Seattle that incubates and inspires new arts participants, art-makers and organizations from our multicultural, inter-generational communities in order to engage in civic dialogue and meaningful community transformation.
Youngstown is included in the national register of historic spaces, hosting over 15,000 participants annually.
