Availability
A/NT Gallery schedules the Special Exhibits North Gallery on an ongoing basis, first come, first served.
The Space
Designed for the 1962 World’s Fair, the Special Exhibits North Gallery is ideal for displaying large or small 2-D artworks on gallery walls with track lighting, natural light and high ceilings. The ample 390 square foot area allows for comfortable viewing from close up or far back. Total horizontal wall space is 57 linear feet, more than enough to elegantly display 10 to 12 paintings of 3 to 4 feet width and far more if smaller works (see photos and floor plan).
The gallery is currently open Wednesday - Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM, but may revert to previous schedule of Tuesday - Sunday in months to come. Artist members volunteer to sit the gallery ensuring your audience will have access to the work during open hours. Given the pedestrian activity at the Seattle Center, daily attendance to the gallery is relatively high, ranging from a handful of visitors up to 30 or more per day.
Vinyl show titles, and print and web publicity are included with the rental fee. The gallery only charges a 15% commission on sales. Welcome to A/NT Gallery. We look forward to exhibiting your artwork!

The Building
For 34 years, A/NT Gallery has presented visual art to the public from artists at all stages of their careers. After two previous locations, we are now at the Seattle Center in the International Fountain Pavilion. Our main show is never juried. All artists are welcome and support the gallery by paying a fee based on the size of their work. We also have Special Exhibits in the North and South Gallery spaces. Artists from the community propose an individual or group show by contacting scherzo@fastmail.fm to reserve the space in advance. The monthly rental fee is $800 (South) to $900 (North). Only one of these two spaces will be reserved for a Special Exhibit each month. The South Gallery is for 2-D work only. The North Gallery is for 2-D and/or 3-D work. Only those artists requiring space for 3-D work should request the North Gallery. Finally, we also have space at the center of the gallery that is free for one month to non-profit groups that serve a Public Benefit as determined by the Seattle Center. Contact info@seattleincolor.com to find out how to qualify for use of this space.
